Kani Ka Pila means let’s play music. It is a backyard music jam tradition that islanders enjoy whenever family and friends get together. This tradition lives at Kani Ka Pila Grille in the Outrigger Reef on the Beach hotel. Led by Grammy award-winning slack key guitar master Cyril Pahinui (Wednesday), the all-star lineup includes Sean Naauao (Monday), Weldon Kekauoha (Tuesday), Kawika Kahiapo (Thursday), Kaukahi (Friday), Manoa DNA (Saturday) and special guest artists each Sunday. Nightly 6 pm - 9 pm, no cover.
Don’t call them impersonators. They are celebrity tribute artists, and there is a clear difference in presentation and staging. No music tracks and contrived choreography here. This is the real deal, bringing the music of Elvis, Michael Jackson, Elton John and Lady Gaga to vivid life. Dinner and cocktail show packages. Highly recommended for all ages.
